Wasp Moths mating
This was taken in Vishakapatnam- Vizag on 24th Dec. There were two pairs mating and I selected this pair. hand held shot. This is also called Day flying moths.

This is a day flying moth- Euchromia elegantissima ; The abdomen is ringed basally with red, the next two segments are ringed blue, followed by three or sometimes four ringed red;

Sorry may be also E. polymena and not E elegantissima as the abdomen in this case ios ringed basally with red, followed by two segments of blue and then two (and not three or four segments as I mentioned above) ringed red and finally one blue...sorry sorry for the jkistake its Euchromia polymena
